Holiday Pay It Forward

Okay so if you have seen the movie you know how this goes! This holiday season( maybe next years too, might be a new tradition!) I will be helping out 3 people/families. I will not expect anything in return except for them to pay it forward to 3 others as well! Something as simple as donating a toy or canned goods, or even hosting someone in your home for Thanksgiving! There are so many less fortunate families out there that could really use some help this holiday! I have been so blessed, so why not pass it on? I feel that God has put this on my heart, this is what I am supposed to be doing this year. I also feel that whoever He brings to me, there is a reason for it. I am to learn from that person or vice versa. Its such a simple way to make a big difference in someones life! I have already called my church to see if there are any needy families I could have over for a Thanksgiving feast! I also found a family whose bank account fell victim to fraud. I am starting up a donation to get them a gift card to a local grocery store for Thanksgiving dinner and more. Please consider doing this, any thing you can give, be it time, money, or food! Help make someones holiday season a little brighter! Thank you for reading!

What a funk

Ever since my surgey I have been in such a funk. I dont want to be touched by my husband in a romantic way. Im not sure why and I feel like a horrible wife. I think I am just still in the mourning stage of my miscarriage.

We go back to California this saturday. I hope we can get our flights in order so that we can still take Joey trick or treating. He will be the cutest puppy around! I will try to put up a picture of him when I can. I am enjoying the fall weather in Ohio, I will miss it when the plane lands in Vegas. This is all for now, maybe I am in a blogging funk as well!

Not again...

I had a miscarriage. No need to draw out a long story and grab your attention. I went to the ER yesterday for a suspected ectopic pregnancy. The doctor confirmed that the pregnancy seemed as if it was in my left ovary. I went in for surgery today, only to find nothing. I am very grateful that I did not have to have my ovary taken out. I was told that I was on the down side of a miscarriage, that I had been pregnant for atleast 2 months and had lost the child, there was no longer a trace of him. I am heartbroken yet again to have lost my child. This was my third pregnancy, yet I only have one son. I am so blessed to have him though. I know God does everything for a reason, even if I dont understand it right now. Please, if you are able to get pregnant and maintain a healthy pregnancy, be grateful. Dont take advantage of it for a minute. I would give anything to be in your shoes...

Well what a suprise!!!

Well hello there! I have been MIA for awhile now, for that I apologize. I have taken a trip home to Ohio. In short, I came home for awhile because of some major stresses in California. I should have posted sooner but my 15 month old son keeps me busy!

Well two weeks ago I decided to get back on the depo provera shot after trying out the mini pill. I had some weight gain and other side effects with the mini pill and decided to go back on the depo. Per usual with the shot I had to give a urine sample to make sure I was not pregnant. I am sitting in the office, and started noticing how long it was take her to come back to administer the shot. The nurse comes back in with my file, " I cant give you the shot". I wasnt sure what she meant, I asked her what do you mean? "your pregnant, I tested twice, congratulations" WOW!!! I didnt expect that at all! I had no symptons, no "feelings", and because of the type of birth control I was on, no real periods!

So here I am today, after 5 tests, 2 blood tests, I am pregnant. We are not sure how far along yet, I believe at my appointment this thursday she will schedule an ultrasound. Although unexpected, I am thrilled. My husband is BEYOND thrilled. The symptons have kicked in, at 8:30 pm nightly I get sick to my stomach and the headache kicks in! I feel as if a little bump is started to show already. This is my third pregnancy so I knew I would show much earlier anyways. Well I will keep you updated on this amazing blessing!

And if you were with me tonight, I'd sing to you just one more time. A song for a heart so big, God couldn't let it live.

On December 5th, 2006, I lost someone I never knew. Watching my son grow and learn and play makes me think about her so much. I was 6 months pregnant when I unexpectedly gave birth to my daughter Abigail. She did not survive the birthing process, and even if she had her life would have been so hard. I miss her everyday, I wish I had both of my children to watch play. I know she is in a far better world, and that someday the Lord will bless me with another daughter. Until I see you again sweet daughter, please know how much you are missed and loved.

Faking Fall

My favorite season by far is Fall! I love the weather, the scents, the sights! Well the hardest part about living in the desert is that we have no distinct fall season. This morning the was a crisp wind in the air though, thus faking fall has begun! My first step, homemade potpurri:

In a sauce pan add about 2 inches of water, get a boil going on the stove.
Add what you like, cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin spice
Also add, cinnamon sticks, apple peels, orange peels, ect of your choice
After it has boiled a minute or so, put on simmer and enjoy!
The house will smell amazing and cozy!

I did cinnamon and apple peels and it smells as if I have been baking all morning!
What will be my next step? Decorating! I am making a trip to the dollar store this evening. I found some great craft ideas using some itmes from there. I will add pictures after my first project of a door decoration.
I am so jealous of everyone out there who truly gets to experience fall, enjoy it for me!

The Other Man in my Life

This is my son, Joseph. We call him Jo Jo, not sure why! He is 14 months old. I have been so blessed to have such an amazing little boy!
